The Purple Nurple is a cocktail creation introduced to us from the crew at Rudi's Bar & Grill in Patchogue, New York. Rudi's is an Iconic Long Island sports bar that rocks every night of the week, all year long with some of the best local music talent. Rudi's is a legendary eatery, serving up seafood tacos, burgers and wings just a few miles from the Great South Bay.

The Purple Nurple was an instant classic pairing the tart sweetness of lemonade with the floral-sweet balance of Chambord. This is one of the team's favorite spring cocktails that delivers through the summer months. This combination with Felene American Handcrafted Vodka delivers an insanely delightful, refreshing and sweet-tart libation. Don't be fooled, this cocktail is no prank when it comes to delivering on the alcohol with three ounces of the good stuff, it's right up there with a martini.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Felene American Handcrafted Vodka

  • 1 oz Chambord Raspberry Liqueur

  • 4 oz Fresh Lemonade

  • Lemon Slice for Garnish

Directions

  • Pack festive style glass with ice
  • Fill shaker tin half way with ice
  • add all liquid ingredients to shaker tin and shake vigorously
  • Strain into glass with ice
  • garnish with lemon slice
