Hapē Sake Spritz is a sake-based spiked seltzer cofounded by supermodel Jordan Barrett.
It’s made from Junmai sake, real fruit and real tea, the company says. Hapē Sake Spritz is 4.5% ABV, with zero added sugar and only 100 calories.
This is the second brand in the portfolio of beverage incubator, XED Beverages, after their first brand, SESH, a seltzer cocktail.
Barrett is also creative director of Hapē Sake Spritz, which will donate a portion of its sales proceeds to mental health organizations.
“While I am intricately involved in every aspect of this brand, it is not a traditional ‘celebrity’ brand like many others out there,” she sasy. “Hapē is a truly unique and differentiated brand which stands on its own and redefines the ready-to-drink and spiked seltzer categories.”
Hapē comes in three initial flavors: Grapefruit with elderflower and ginger, Green tea with yuzu and lemon and Lemonade with hibiscus and lemongrass.
This new canned product launches nationwide at hapesake.com and in stores across California. Plans are for distribution to include 11 states by spring 2022. The post Hapē Sake Spritz first appeared on Beverage Dynamics.
