Tequila Don Julio has launched Tequila Don Julio Rosado, a reposado aged at least four months in ruby port wine casks.
The resulting liquid has a light fruit finish and pink hue, the company says.
Tequila Don Julio Rosado is a new permanent addition to the brand’s portfolio.

Ruby port wine casks used for this expression came from Douro wine region of Portugal.
On the palate, this tequila has notes of creamy strawberry, ripe raspberry, dried plum, roasted caramel and a touch of rich cocoa, the company reports.
This latest offering from Tequila Don Julio debuts with a new creative campaign, created by the community, featuring across social, out-of-home and digital media. The concept for the film, directed by Ukrainian Filmmaker Tanu Muiño, is “about bringing the night to the day.”
Tequila Don Julio Rosado is available nationwide for a suggested retail price of $125.99 for a 750-ml bottle.
