Bardstown Bourbon Company will soon release its latest in the Discovery Series, which is meant to highlight the art of blending.
This latest expression blends five whiskeys. Primarily made up of Kentucky-sourced bourbons ranging from six to 13 years old, the blend is rounded out by two ten-year-old expressions hailing from Tennessee and Georgia.
On the nose is toasted pecan, maple, and baked cherry, the company reports. The palate brings vanilla cream, hazelnut, and cocoa.
“We’re excited to introduce a new look and feel on the packaging of Discovery #10,” says Dan Callaway, VP of Product Development for Bardstown Bourbon Co. “Inside you’ll find a trailblazing blend, rooted in Kentucky that explores innovative flavor from unexpected sources.”
Discovery Series #10 comes bottled at 114.24 proof.
Roughly 3,500 9L cases will roll out through the Bardstown Bourbon Co. gift shop on Friday, June 2, at retailers in 24 states and online at Seelbachs.com. The suggested retail price is $139.99 per 750-ml. bottle.
This follows recent launches, Bardstown Bourbon Co. Foursquare Collaborative Series and Bardstown Bourbon The Origin Series.
