You want me to put what on the rim? That’s right, rim the glass of your Indecent Proposal Cocktail with black and white sesame seeds for a unique and delicious taste pairing.

The Indecent Proposal Cocktail pairs  felənē® American Handcrafted vodka, grapefruit, bitters and sesame seeds with rosemary and Cointreau for a cocktail experience unlike any other.

It may sound strange at first, but once you experience this taste-bud-teasing concoction, you will wonder why you waited so long to try it. Adding a dash of grapefruit bitters will give your Indecent Proposal Cocktail an extra citrus kick and bitters-essence and mixes well with effervescence.


Stemless goblet or large red wine glass


1 1/2 oz  felənē® American Handcrafted vodka

1/2 oz Cointreau

2 oz fresh-squeezed pink or ruby red grapefruit (we prefer the ruby red). Cut and juice half a large ruby red grapefruit.

2 oz Sparkling water

Dash of grapefruit-infused bitters (or substitute non-infused bitters)

2 tablespoons mixed white and black sesame seeds (garnish)

1 Sprig of fresh rosemary

Ice cubes


Fill metal shaker-tin with ice cubes (half way),  felənē® American Handcrafted vodka, Cointreau, grapefruit juice and bitters. Seal shaker tin with your serving glass and shake moderately. Uncover shaker-tin add sparkling water and set aside.


Your serving glass should have some liquid after shaking (if not, use your grapefruit wedge to wet the top 1/2 inch of the glass rim. Set the sesame seeds on a small saucer and place the wet rim of your serving glass in the saucer and gently roll the rim of the glass to coat the rim with sesame seeds.

Now gently pour the drink mix into the glass and drop-in the rosemary sprig (cut side down) into your glass. Cut a slit in your grapefruit wedge and rest on the rim of your glass.

The Indecent Proposal Cocktail has an amazing visual appeal and is a taste sensation.
