minutesThe felənē® Raspberry Lemonade Mule Cocktail is a take on a classic, American-originated cocktail, the "Moscow Mule." Dating back to the 1940 the Moscow Mule got its name from the Russian influence on vodka (Moscow) and the kick of the spice in ginger beer (Mule).
The Raspberry Lemonade Mule Cocktail is a felənē® team favorite and an excellent spring cocktail refresher that excels well into the summer months. Using felənē® flavors Raspberry-Lemonade flavored vodka, this recipe delivers a one-of-a-kind flavor profile. felənē® Raspberry-Lemonade flavored vodka is 80 proof, contains zero sugar and like our straight vodka it is organic and gluten-free. This concoction pairs the pungent, spiciness of ginger beer with the tart-sweetness of raspberry and citrus for an incredible range of flavor and refreshment.
We prefer Fever-Tree ginger beer for this recipe for its balance of sweetness and spice. Also, it cannot be stressed enough that to really enjoy a true Raspberry Lemonade Mule experience, make the effort to get real copper mugs. Copper mugs allow your Mule cocktail to achieve and hold a chill unlike glass. But be sure to get solid copper if you can and avoid copper-plated mugs. Copper will be more expensive, but it is worth the expense and effort to use the genuine article.
Real copper mule mugs are typically 16 ounces (one pint) and although they are packed with ice when serving, they hold a lot of liquid. So for this recipe we are going to make one and a half servings.
Ingredients
2-3 oz felənē® flavors Raspberry-Lemonade Flavored Vodka
4-6 oz Fever-tree ginger beer
1/2 oz freshly squeezed lime juice (juice of 1/2 lime)
Ice
Lime wedges for garnish
Raspberries for garnish
Directions
- Fill a copper mug or highball glass with ice (we recommend chilling mug in freezer for 1/2 hour)
- Add felənē® Raspberry-Lemonade Flavored Vodka and lime juice to the mug
- Top the mug with ginger beer and gently stir to combine all ingredients
- Garnish with lime wedges and raspberries
