The Irishman Vintage Cask 2021

Walsh Whiskey has released the 2021 vintage of The Irishman Vintage Cask, a triple-distilled, barrel-strength Irish whiskey expression.

This year’s vintage is limited to 3,000 bottles worldwide, with 750 bottles assigned to the U.S.

The 2021 vintage is the 13th release since 2008.

The Irishman Vintage Cask is a marriage of aged single malt and aged single pot still, matured in first-fill bourbon casks, non chill-filtered and bottled at 54.8% ABV.

“We have built a strong following for our Cask Strength vintages over the years, with many choosing to develop collections,” says says Co-founder Bernard Walsh. “The 2021 vintage has decadent notes of candied orange and cherries to the fore, while a subtle nuttiness builds slowly on the palate.”

Each bottle comes in a wooden cask, uniquely numbered, with a dated certificate signed by Walsh.

The suggested retail price is $140 per 750-ml. bottle. The Irishman Vintage Cask 2021 is available nationwide and online. The post The Irishman Vintage Cask 2021 first appeared on Beverage Dynamics.
