Stranahan’s Bottles Mountain Angel 10-Year Batch 3

Stranahan’s Colorado Whiskey has announced the return of Mountain Angel 10-Year.

As with previous releases, Batch 3 of this limited-release American Single Malt aged 10 years in new charred American white oak casks.

The result is a nose of candied apples, spicy pipe tobacco and heavy leather notes, the company reports. On the palate is tobacco and lingering pepper, before a finish of oak with hints of dark caramel and earthy spearmint.

Stranahan’s Colorado Whiskey Mountain Angel 10-Year Batch 3 is 90.2 proof.

As a result of Denver’s high altitude and dry climate, in addition to its 10 years of maturation, Mountain Angel experiences an angel’s share loss on par with Scotches more twice its age, the company reports.

For the first time ever, Mountain Angel 10-Year Batch 3 will be available for purchase for $99.99 per 750-ml. bottle on the Stranahan’s website and at select retailers nationwide.
