American brand Aviation Gin has released a limited edition bottle design to celebrate co-owner Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney’s takeover of the Wrexham Association Football Club (AFC).
The limited edition bottle is now available for fans of the Welsh National League club to purchase from the official Wrexham AFC online store.
The clear, bevelled glass bottle is adorned with the official Wrexham AFC logo, and was inspired by the Art Deco era.
Only 6,000 bottles are available to purchase, priced at RRP £32 (US$44) each.
Made in Portland, Oregon, in the US, Aviation Gin (42% ABV) is now available in more than 40 countries and plans to build its international presence further in the future.
Actor Reynolds said: “It’s no secret that I love Aviation American Gin. I truly believe it is the best gin on the planet.
“Rob and I are ecstatic to have won the approval of the Wrexham fans and the league, and this bottle is for them. It’s a small first step on what will hopefully be a legendary underdog story.”
Last August, Diageo agreed to buy Davos Brands, which co-owns Aviation American Gin with Hollywood actor Ryan Reynolds, in a deal worth up to US$610 million.
