Ron Colón Salvadoreño offers a collection of rums.
The portfolio includes a 6-year-old Salvadoran rum from Licorera Cihuatán, aged and unaged pot-distilled rums from Worthy Park Estate, Monymusk and Hampden distilleries in Jamaica.
By combining column-distilled and pot-distilled rums, the overall flavor offers contrasting characteristics that interact to “create something quite unique,” the company says. “Our 111-proof rums have been designed by bartenders for bartenders. Our aim with the Ron Colón Salvadoreño coffee cold infused rums is to authentically showcase all the flavors of the Salvadoran coffee beans.”
The coffee-infused Ron Colón Salvadoreño is made with single-estate, bourbon coffee beans from the El Ciprés region, grown at 1700 meters above sea level on the side of El Salvador’s Santa Ana volcano. Each step from growing, processing and roasting is overseen by Tomas and Andres Trigueros of Jags Head Coffee.
The suggested retail price for Ron Colón Salvadoreño 111 is $36.99-39.99 per 750-ml. bottle. Ron Colón Salvadoreño 111 Coffee retails for $41.99-45.99, while Ron Colón Salvadoreño 81 Proof retails for $34.99-$37.99.
