English producer The River Test Distillery has created a London Dry gin distilled with handpicked meadowsweet flowers.
River Test London Dry Gin is made with meadowsweet flowers picked during a two-week period between July and August.
The gin was distilled on the banks of the River Test, in Hampshire, and is made with “riverside botanicals” and pure chalk-filtered water.
The “exceptionally smooth gin” is said to have gently-honeyed, floral notes and “silky gin-juniper” flavours. River Test London Dry Gin is recommended served with premium tonic water or enjoyed neat with ice.
Bottled at 43% ABV, River Test London Dry Gin is priced at RRP £37.95 (US$51) per 700ml bottle.
The gin is available to buy in the UK from The River Test Distillery’s website, independent retailers and from online spirits retailer Master of Malt.
Run by husband-and-wife duo Jonathan and Sarah Nelson, the Hampshire-based River Test Distillery was founded in 2019.
