Italian brand NIO Cocktails has teamed up with Rome-based bar Drink Kong to launch a ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktail box.
The drinks were crafted by Drink Kong founder Patrick Pistolesi, who helped develop NIO Cocktails in 2017, alongside entrepreneurs Luca Quagliano and Alessandro Palmarin.
The NIO Cocktails X Drink Kong RTD box contains four premium cocktail offerings, each made with one of the following Diageo-owned brands: Casamigos Tequila, Tanqueray Gin, or Bulleit whiskey.
The four-strong selection features the Casamigos-based Big Trouble in Oaxaca, which clocks in at 21.2% ABV and delivers notes of pineapple and melon.
Plus, two Tanqueray-based cocktails are included: the Summer Kup (24.2% ABV), with notes of citric bergamot and elderflower, and the Tentation (27.4% ABV) with floral and grapefruit notes.
Finally, the Bang Bang drink contains Bulleit whiskey, and rests at 24.7% ABV.
The limited edition box retails for RRP £29 (US$33.82), with each box purchased numbered and hand-signed by mixologist Pistolesi himself.
The boxes can be purchased through the NIO Cocktails website.
The brand recently launched a 12-day Advent Calendar Cocktail Box containing 24 drinks.
The company also recently expanded its global presence, when Los-Angeles-based distributor Edge Americas Online opened the first NIO Cocktails retail shop in California.
Plus, the brand also partnered with the DFS Group in the travel retail sector and is available at Los Angeles International Airport, San Francisco International Airport, and JFK International Airport in New York as a result.
