Stellum Spirits Announces New Black Specialty Blends

Stellum Spirits has extended their Stellum Black Specialty Blends line, adding Hunters Moon and The Lone Cypress.

The base for both of these is a blend of Indiana bourbon and rye, layered with older bourbons and ryes from Kentucky and Tennessee. Each release showcases an alternate blending profile that incorporates reserve barrels from their stocks with the original Stellum blend.

Hunter’s Moon is an oak-driven bourbon, inspired by the Hunter’s Moon of October. It is marked by a high rye spice and a woodiness, the company reports. Bottled at cask strength: 115.52 proof.

The Lone Cypress is savory and delicate rye blend is defined by notes of dried herbs and pine, with a hint of salt-air salinity, the company reports. It’s named for one of the world’s most famous trees, found on the coast of the Monterey Peninsula. Also bottled at cask strength: 115.34 proof.

All Stellum Black specialty blends have a suggested retail price of $99 per 750-ml. bottle. They are available at retailers in 49 U.S. markets and online via the Stellum website at stellum.com.Stellum is a brand from Barrell Craft Spirits (BCS), known for their premium Barrell line. The post Stellum Spirits Announces New Black Specialty Blends first appeared on Beverage Dynamics.
