SIMI Wines Low-cal Brightful Chardonnay

SIMI Wines has launched its first-ever low-calorie, low-alcohol wine: Brightful Chardonnay, with 80 calories per serving and 9% ABV.

Using the same fruit sourcing, SIMI’s winemaking team adjusted the oak aging and implemented winemaking techniques to achieve a lower-alcohol version of the brand’s traditional chardonnay, the company says.

This wine opens with aromas and flavors of yellow and green apple, yellow pear, lemon lime and lemon zest, the company reports. Hints of white flower, vanilla and lightly toasted oak are followed by butterscotch and honey.

Brightful Chardonnay pairs best with fresh salads such as butter lettuce salad with pomegranate arils, fresh goat cheese and pine nuts, the company says, as well as crab, avocado, green apple and endive salad with lemon vinaigrette.

This new release is available nationally in the U.S. on Drizly and Instacart, and at local retailers where SIMI is sold and on SIMIWinery.com. The suggested retail price is $15 per 750-ml. bottle. The post SIMI Wines Low-cal Brightful Chardonnay first appeared on Beverage Dynamics.
