Pimentae launches canned cocktails

Tequila-based pre-mixed brand Pimentae has expanded its ready-to-drink (RTD) offering with the launch of its Pocket of Paradise canned cocktails.

Pimentae was launched in 2021 by female co-founders Alice Parmiter and Wynter Karo.

Pocket of Paradise is the brand’s first venture outside of bottles.

Parminter and Karo commented: “It’s about time we expanded our offering to recyclable cans. This has been in the works for us for a long time and opens Pimentae up to an entirely new consumer base and retail partners.

“We are so proud of Pimentae’s achievements so far and this new launch has already led to some incredible opportunities. Our goal of changing the way consumers view and enjoy Tequila is becoming more and more real.”

The debut products in the canned range include a Tommy’s Chilli Margarita, and The Cucumber & Elderflower Eclipse, both of which are already available in a 500ml bottled format.

The brand will also be launching a classic Tommy’s Margarita alongside the cans, composed of a crisp blend of Tequila, zesty lime and a sweet touch of agave.

Pimentae uses El Tequileno Blanco in all of its expressions.

The 125ml cans are now available for RRP £4.50 (US$5.40) on Amazon, Master of Malt, Not on the High Street, Selfridges, EAT 17 and the brand’s website.

Pimentae was awarded Master and Silver medals for both bottled cocktails in DB & SB Spring Blind Tasting 2022.
