Nordic Gin House expands global presence

The Nordic Gin House has signed a distribution deal with Cornerstone Wines to boost its availability in Southeast Asia.

From 1 January 2023, Cornerstone Wines will distribute the brand’s beverages in Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia and Taiwan.

The super-premium portfolio of Scandinavian spirits will become available to more than 500 million potential customers.

The brand’s portfolio comprises 15 bottlings, and includes the København Klassisk Gin, Oslo Gin, Bergslagens Organic Gin, Bivrost Arctic Gin and Stuðlaberg Gin.

Nordic Gin House was founded in 2017, and is a collaboration between distilleries and spirits industry experts across Scandinavia.

Since its inception, the company has partnered with distributors around the world, including in the US, Belgium, Austria, China and Singapore.

In October, Jakob Vallentin, founder and managing director of Nordic Gin House, was made a warden of The Gin Guild.

At the beginning of this year, the bottler featured in our top 50 innovative spirits launches of 2021. The feature included: København Klassisk Lounge, a ‘smoother version of the classic gin’; København Navy Strength, made with the ‘highest possible level of juniper berries’; and ‘fragrant, fresh’ København Pink Gin, which is infused with hibiscus.

Last month, the drinks business published the Asia gin masters 2022 results.
