US producer Levecke has partnered with Hong Kong-based Milestone Beverages on the distribution of its spirits across Asia Pacific.
Levecke’s line of spirits, liqueurs, and ready-to-drink (RTD) products will join Milestone Beverages’ portfolio of spirits brands.
Hong Kong-based Milestone Beverages will ‘leverage’ its expertise and regional connections to establish, build visibility and grow Leveke’s brands in key Asian markets and channels.
Levecke CEO Neil Levecke said: “We are working hard to expand our branded portfolio globally.
“The Asia Pacific marketplace is an amazing region that we have operated in for decades and is a natural fit for these brands.
“The region has a well-developed cocktail culture and a traditional appreciation for spirits. We also could not do it without great partners. Milestone Beverages is really committed to growing our brands.”
Based in the US, family-led firm Levecke’s products are available in the US, Canada, Mexico, Latin America, the Caribbean, part of Europe, and now in Asia.
The company’s range includes Pau Maui Vodka, Fid Street Gin, Mahina Rum, RTD brand Craft Spirited Cocktails, Three Birds Hard Seltzers, and Whiskey Row Bourbon.
Milestone will initially focus on three brands: Pau Maui, Three Birds and Whiskey Row.
Joe Milner, managing director of Milestone Beverages, said: “With our complementary portfolios there are many options open to us for expansion, leveraging Levecke’s strong offering in key trend and growth categories such as hard seltzer.”
Milestone will manage marketing activities and implement commercial strategies through its appointed distribution partners, beginning in Australia, Japan, China, South Korea, and Hong Kong.
In September 2020, Indonesian rum brand Nusa Caña partnered with Milestone Beverages to distribute its products in Asia.
