Golden Road Brewing Passion Wolf Hazy IPA

The Los Angeles-based Golden Road Brewing has announced Passion Wolf Hazy IPA.

This bright and tropical beer with passion fruit (7.0% ABV) marks the newest addition to The Wolf Pack, Golden Road’s family of IPAs, joining the Hazy Pup IPA and Wolf Pup Session IPA. $1 from each Passion Wolf six-pack sold in Golden Road’s home region will directly benefit Wags & Walks, a  501c3 dog rescue organization, further expanding the long-standing partnership (up to $50,000).

Passion Wolf Hazy IPA is gold in color with a light-medium hazy body. Real passion fruit complements the hop character of the El Dorado, Cascade and Citra, the company says, bringing notes of fruit punch and citrus.

The new brew is available year-round, beginning now in 12-oz. 6-Packs, and within the Wolf Pack Variety Pack — a 12-oz. 12-Pack with Passion Wolf Hazy IPA, Wolf Pup Session IPA and Hazy Pup IPA — beginning in February.

“There were many factors that inspired Passion Wolf Hazy IPA. First off, we love brewing IPAs and we’re always looking for new and exciting directions to go,” says Victor Novak, brewmaster. “We quickly dove head first into the haze craze since we love how they’re so yeast and ester driven. They’re also lower in bitterness, which allows the big, tropical and citrus notes of our favorite hops to pop. Layering passion fruit to complement the hops just brought the whole thing to another level.”
