Elijah Craig has announced details for the third and final iteration of its cask strength bourbon for 2021: Elijah Craig Barrel Proof Bourbon Batch C921.
It’s 120.2 proof.
This strikes a middle between the previous two batches released earlier this year, A121 at 123.6 proof and B521 at 118.2 proof.
Like previous versions, this 12-year-old bourbon is non-chill-filtered, and uncut to preserve all the natural esters and taste components from the barrel to the bottle. This creates variance in proof from batch to batch.
