Double Dutch launches in US

UK-based Double Dutch Drinks has revealed plans to release its range of tonics and mixers in the US.

The Double Dutch range was founded in 2015 by twin sisters Joyce and Raissa de Haas. The products will be available to buy in the US from February 2022.

Joyce de Haas said: “We are thrilled to launch in the United States and our experience in Europe and across other global markets has shown us how strong the appetite is for premium flavourful drinks.

“My sister and I plan to spend a lot of time on the ground in the US in the next 18 months to ensure the US becomes one of our key markets.”

Double Dutch is now sold in more than 40 countries worldwide. Brewing giant Heineken purchased a minority stake in the company in 2020.The range is available in 12 200ml variants, including mixers Cucumber & Watermelon and Pomegranate & Basil, plus the recently unveiled cocktail soda range, which includes Cucumber Margarita with Chilli and Bloody Mary flavours.

Joyce added: “Innovation will continue to play a key factor for us and our success globally. Following the launch of our popular cocktail soda variants last year, we will continue to develop innovations in line with consumer trends, both on a global and localised level, collaborating with our customers to offer products that cater to consumer needs.”

The low-calorie range is available from RRP £21.15 (US$29.02) per case of 24 bottles. Double Dutch products can be purchased through the brand’s official website.

In 2020, the brand was named as the official tonic partner of members’ club Soho House.
