Dead Man’s Fingers debuts cream liqueur

Rum brand Dead Man’s Fingers has entered the cream liqueur category with the launch of a raspberry-flavoured expression.

Dead Man’s Fingers Raspberry Rum Cream Liqueur (17 % ABV) is described as a ‘smooth and velvety’ expression with a nose of fresh raspberries.

The rum-based bottling is recommended served neat over ice and garnished with raspberries, or mixed with coffee liqueur and oat milk to create a White Russian.

The brand also recommends making a twist on an Espresso Martini using 50ml of the Raspberry Rum Liqueur, 20ml hazelnut liqueur and 50ml cold brewed coffee.

Rachel Adams, global marketing manager for the rum brand, said: “The cream liqueur category continues to see phenomenal growth, and is now adding the most absolute value year on year to the spirits category in UK off-trade.

“Our delicious new rum-based liqueur is perfectly positioned to help retailers and licensees tap into this significant consumer demand, all under the strength of the brand which has already proven its credentials with a host of hugely popular, disruptive and in demand innovations”.

The Raspberry Rum Cream Liqueur is priced at RRP £17 (US$23) per 700ml bottle.

In November 2021, Halewood Artisanal Spirits launched two Dead Man’s Fingers bottlings to ‘reinvigorate’ the traditional rum category.

Halewood added four flavours to the brand’s rum range in summer 2020 – Lime, Raspberry, Passionfruit and Hazelnut. A banana-flavoured variant was released in March 2021.
