Booker’s Bourbon Announces Kentucky Tea Batch

The next release in 2022 from Booker’s Bourbon — the premium, cask-strength line from Jim Beam — is Kentucky Tea Batch.

Each release of this whiskey has a unique name that alludes to the people, places and/or history behind the brand. This batch is named after Booker Noe’s favorite drink, which he referred to as Kentucky Tea. Booker would add one part bourbon to four parts water, and enjoy his Kentucky Tea with dinner, the company says.

Like all batches of Booker’s Bourbon, Kentucky Tea Batch was selected by Seventh Generation Master Distiller Fred Noe. Uncut and unfiltered, this batch is 126.5 proof. It aged 7 years, 4 months and 14 days.

Kentucky Tea Batch has an amber color and a dark, sweet vanilla aroma, the company reports, before a sweet vanilla taste.

This new release is now available nationwide in limited quantities for a suggested retail price of $89.99 for a 750-ml. bottle. The post Booker’s Bourbon Announces Kentucky Tea Batch first appeared on Beverage Dynamics.
