Barmen 1873 is First Bourbon from Coors

Molson Coors Beverage Company their and subsidiary Coors Whiskey Co. have unveiled Barmen 1873 Bourbon.

Hitting shelves April 3, Barmen 1873 joins the roster alongside Coors Whiskey Co.’s Five Trail Blended American Whiskey.

Barmen 1873 is a blend of two bourbons. It has notes of caramel, vanilla and toffee, the company reports, plus grilled peach, dark chocolate and coffee, with a finish of cinnamon, ginger and baking spice.

“We’re meticulous about quality, and Barmen 1873 reflects the care we put into each one of our blends,” says David Coors. “Barmen plays in the space of sweet on the front and a long, lingering spice finish on the end, and it’s available at an approachable price point for bourbon fans.”

The brand name combines the Coors family’s German hometown and the year Coors Brewing launched.

Barmen 1873 will be co-displayed with Coors Banquet in some locations.

This bourbon is 92 proof. It retails for a suggested price of $39.99 to $42.99 per 750-ml. bottle.

Beginning April, Barmen 1873 becomes available in the following states: CO, KS, OK, MO, TX, IL, KY, WI, NY, PA, NV, GA and TN. More markets will follow in 2023.The post Barmen 1873 is First Bourbon from Coors first appeared on Beverage Dynamics.
