Industry experts have partnered to launch a global consultancy company, called International Drinks Specialists.
The International Drinks Specialists comprises leading industry professionals, including wine and spirits judges, writers, buyers and production specialists, who hail from five continents.
The consultancy service will offer producers and brand owners sensory, quality and technical feedback.
The company aims to be ‘inclusive, approachable’ and to help producers find the best specialists to enhance their brands.
Arthur Nägele, senior specialist and founding member, said: “With the accumulated experience, insight and data of its members, the International Drinks Specialist is fast becoming an authority on product evaluation and feedback and an important source to consult about competition and awards entry strategy worldwide.”
The International Drinks Specialists was inspired by a want to help distillers, brewers and winemakers with sensory feedback.
Clients will receive advice on which drinks competitions they should enter, and if they are ready to put their products before expert tasters.
Co-founder of the International Drinks Specialists Tobias Gorn added: “It’s a little like helping top athletes to get extra 2-3% performance in, to make sure they are closer to the trophy they aim to win.
