IAADFS names 2025 keynote speaker

Americas Market Intelligence (AMI)’s John Price will be the keynote speaker for the International Association of Airport and Duty Free Stores’ (IAADFS) 2025 Summit of the Americas.

The 2025 summit will be hosted on 8-11 March at the InterContinental Miami in Florida.

Price, managing director of AMI, will open the conference session programme on the Sunday morning (9 March).

His session will explore the political, economic, and social trends of Latin America that influence the travel industry, and examine the evolution of the region’s affluent and mass-affluent travellers.

His presentation will also review the region’s economic outlook in the coming years and examine longer-term trends impacting Latin American travel.

Price is a veteran of Latin America market consulting and is considered one of the region’s leading public speakers and thought leaders.

He is fluent in English and Spanish, with strong consulting and academic backgrounds built on 4,000 consulting engagements in the region since 1993.

He has published more than 100 articles on Latin American business trends and maintains a column in Latin Trade, the region’s largest-circulated English-language magazine.

Price is also an adjunct professor at Florida International University and a guest lecturer at the University of Miami.

Michael Payne, CEO and president of IAADFS, commented: “We look forward to John’s engaging and informative presentation, which will provide valuable and actionable intelligence to our 2025 summit attendees.”

The registration for the 2025 summit opened in mid-November 2024.

The full conference programme will be publicised soon.
