Hospitality Pineapple and Pepper Gin supports on-trade

English brand Hospitality Gin has bottled a pineapple and pepper-flavoured expression and will donate proceeds from its sale to the UK on-trade.

The release is the first in Hospitality Gin’s Bartender Series, which aims to showcase ‘unconventional flavour combinations’.

Distilled at the Cooper King Distillery in Yorkshire, Hospitality Gin Bartender Series #1 Pineapple and Pepper Gin is made with freeze-dried pineapple, green bell pepper and pink peppercorn, as well as other botanicals including juniper, lemon thyme, orange blossom and orange peel.

The gin is described as having a ‘savoury, earthy hit of juniper and green bell pepper’, and juicy, tropical aromas. On the palate, there are flavours of pineapple, lemon thyme and orange blossom, as well as a ‘perfumed sherbert tingle’ from the pink peppercorns.

Bottled at 42% ABV, Hospitality Gin Bartender Series #1 Pineapple and Pepper is available to buy through the brand’s website in 700ml and 500ml bottles, which are priced at £37 (US$50) and £30 (US$41) respectively.

The gin is also available from Master of Malt, Spirit Store and local stockists.

Hospitality Gin was founded by Tom Lord as a a not-for-profit brand. Since its launch, Hospitality Gin has donated proceeds from its sales to The Drinks Trust and Hospitality Action, and expects to raise at least £10,000 (US$13,500) per year.
