George Dickel Releases Single Barrel Whisky Aged 15 Years

George Dickel has announced a new single barrel whisky, aged at least 15 years old.

Available for purchase by the barrel and by the bottle, those who order a barrel can add custom branding and messaging to their whisky bottles, the company says, and choose from the highest-proof options available in the Cascade Hollow Distilling Co. warehouse.

Those buying by the bottle can expect a variety of proofs available at retail, as no two bottles of these single barrel whiskies are the same. The ABV is between 40% and 52.3%.

Company-provided tasting notes range from notes of vanilla, toffee and treacle to rich leather, saddle oil and wood, to a more delicate perfume of fruit or lavender notes.

Beginning now, George Dickel Single Barrel aged at least 15 years is available for a suggested retail price of $59.99 per 750-ml. bottle in CA, DE, FL, GA, TN and TX. Additional markets are planned for Jan. 2021.

Beverage Dynamics recently caught up with George Dickel Head Distiller Nicole Austin to talk about her innovations and motivations in whisky-making.

This new whisky follows the recent release of the company’s Cascade Moon Whisky Edition No. 1.The post George Dickel Releases Single Barrel Whisky Aged 15 Years first appeared on Beverage Dynamics.
