British vodka Edwards 1902 has secured a UK-wide listing with Waitrose for its ready-to-drink (RTD) spritz cocktails, made in collaboration with cordial brand Bottlegreen.
The two brands launched a new range of RTD spritz cans in March.
Now, following successful national listings with Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, and Co-op, their raspberry and elderflower variants are set to hit 141 Waitrose shelves nationwide.
Emma Hamilton, co-founder of Edwards 1902, said: “We are absolutely delighted that Waitrose, the leading retailer for quality, has chosen to list our vodka spritz cans. It’s a true testament to the craftsmanship behind our brands that a retailer with such high standards has recognised the quality, heritage, and elevated taste of our products.
“We’re thrilled to bring our premium drinks to Waitrose customers nationwide, offering them a refreshing and refined ready-to-drink choice.”
The new range is said to offer a ‘sophisticated drinking experience’, with each 250ml can containing fewer than 150 calories.
Sasha McNeilly, brand manager at Bottlegreen, added: “We are thrilled to see the ongoing recognition for our latest collaboration and that Waitrose, known for its commitment to quality, has chosen to list our RTD cans.
“Our shared passion for quality and superior taste has culminated in a range of vodka spritz cans that offer a refreshing alternative to the rest of the ready-to-drink can market.”
Available in three variants – elderflower, raspberry, and lime and mint – the vodka spritz cans are said to showcase both brands’ commitment to quality and taste.
All three spritz cocktails are also available on the Edwards 1902 website and in selected outlets. The recommended retail price is £2.50 (US$3.20) per can.
