Early Times Whiskey searched the country to find “All-American Dogs” as part of a national social media campaign. The brand asked consumers to share a photo and a story about their All-American dog, and more than 16,000 dog-lovers answered. Ten dogs from across the country were selected to participate in a photoshoot for the Early Times 2021 All-American Dogs calendar.
“People who love Early Times, also love talking about their dogs, so this contest was a fun way for us to connect with our consumers,” says Robert Trinkle, partner and senior vice president, PriceWeber. “As dog lovers ourselves, our team enjoyed sorting through this year’s entries. We received stories of courage, perseverance and resilience, all of which embody the American spirit and reflect the Early Times brand.”
Each dog is also being featured on a congratulatory roadside billboard in their hometown, and will enjoy all the bragging rights that come with being an All-American dog, the company says. The 10 winners hail from Kentucky, Alabama, Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee, Maryland, Ohio, Virginia, Nevada and Indiana.
The Early Times 2021 All-American Dogs will be available to the public in a downloadable and printable version on the Early Times website.
The calendar will also feature Molly, the one-year-old rescue dog sponsored by Early Times. Molly is training to become a service canine as part of the brand’s longtime partnership with K9s For Warriors, a nonprofit organization committed to training service canines for military veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injury and other trauma resulting from post-9/11 military service. To date, Early Times has donated $200,000 to K9s For Warriors, the company says.
