Organic Grape Spirit distillery, which creates Drylaw, has been recognised with a carbon-neutral certificate from Carbon Neutral Britain.
The certificate allows individuals and businesses to carbon offset their environmental impact.
Drylaw has balanced its minimal carbon footprint through the climate fund, which invests in wind, solar, hydro, and cook stove projects. The initiative focuses on offsetting projects that deliver lasting social and economic benefits in developing countries worldwide.
Recently supported projects include wind and solar initiatives in Chile, India, and the Philippines, hydro-power in Fiji and Brazil, and cook-stove programmes in Kenya.
Drylaw will also be the official sponsor of the Paradiso Sustainability Summit after-party at Monk cocktail bar in Barcelona on 30 March.
The summit will be hosted by Giacomo Giannotti, founder of Barcelona-based cocktail bar Paradiso, for the fourth time at Palo Alto.
It will feature a series of seminars and masterclasses, along with a public cocktail festival showcasing the best sustainable brands, bars, and cocktails from around the globe.
Giannotti will also create a no-waste Drylaw cocktail to be served during the night.
Organic Grape Spirit Distillery was established in 2020, followed by the launch of Drylaw in 2024.
The brand offers a gin and vodka made with Spanish Muscatel and Chardonnay grapes and will soon expand its range with a Muscatel brandy.
