Coming to America: Neit Whiskey

Innovative Irish brand Neit Whiskey has made its US debut with strategic appointments and new product launches.

Known for its category-challenging, time-honoured craftsmanship and innovative approach, Neit Whiskey has entered the US market after its European success. The move marks a significant milestone in the brand’s global extension plans.

Neit Whiskey is strategically entering the US market to capitalise on the growing interest in premium imported spirits, including Irish whiskey. As part of the launch, the company has appointed industry veteran Samuel Halpern as its US country manager and partner. Halpern brings a wealth of experience to the brand from his previous roles at Moët Hennessy, Southern Glazer’s, and Blue Run. His appointment highlights Neit Whiskey’s commitment to establishing a strong presence in a market that holds substantial potential for Irish whiskeys.

Neit has also partnered with Park Street, a well-known spirits importer recognised for assisting international brands in establishing a presence in the US. The collaboration is essential for distributing Neit’s premium products to bars, restaurants, and liquor stores nationwide, ensuring they attract the interest of industry professionals and discerning consumers alike.

With the two new appointments, Neit is well positioned to capture the imagination of American whiskey lovers, as Halpern explains: “The US is not only the largest market for Irish whiskey but also the most dynamic. The brand has also revealed two new expressions: a non-age statement Toffee Dream blend, and a 12-year-old single grain whiskey, Mellow Spice, finished in Moscatel casks. These expressions reflect Neit’s dedication to quality and determination to offer a distinctive, premium product range that stands out in the competitive whiskey landscape.
