Campari UK to distribute Ancho Reyes and Montelobos

The UK arm of Campari Group has taken on the distribution of Ancho Reyes liqueur and Montelobos mezcal.

The distribution agreement means Campari UK will distribute all SKUs of both brands currently available in the UK market: Ancho Reyes Original, Ancho Reyes Verde, Montelobos Espadin, Ensamble, Tobala and Pechuga.

Ancho Reyes is a Mexican chilli liqueur that is made from a family recipe that dates back to the 1920s. The liqueur is made with handpicked poblano chillis, which are native to Puebla, Mexico.

Montelobos is a mezcal from the City of Puebla and is created by Mexican distiller Iván Saldaña.

Italy’s Campari Group acquired a majority stake in Montelobos and Ancho Reyes for US$35.7 million in October last year.
