Independent bottler Barrell Craft Spirits has released Barrell Bourbon Batch 026, a blend of straight bourbon whiskies distilled and aged in TN, KY and IN.
This new bottling features a selection of bourbons that aged for 9, 10, 11, 13 and 15 years.
On the nose are fresh, dried and cook fruits, the company reports, supported by florals and barrel spice. On the palate are sugar and peppery spice from the cask. With water this whiskey shows tropical fruits on the nose and creamy desserts on the palate.
Barrell Bourbon Batch 026 was bottled in Kentucky at cask strength (112.64 proof), and is available now. The suggested retail price is $90 per 750-ml. bottle.
This follows the company’s recent release, the latest expression in the Barrell Craft Spirits Line.
