American actor Kevin Hart took to Instagram this week to announce details of his upcoming Tequila, which he said has been in development for three years.
The Ride Along actor is the latest famous face to join the agave spirits sector, following Jumanji co-star Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Breaking Bad actor Bryan Cranston and singer-songwriter Rita Ora.
Reality TV star Kendall Jenner also announced plans to launch her 818 Tequila brand earlier this week.
In a series of Instagram posts, Hart said: “Went to Tequila Mexico to discuss my Tequila in Mexico….more info coming soon. Been patiently working on this project for three yrs…almost ready people! Stay tuned!”
This was followed the next day by a post stating the spirit was “almost there”.
Hart said: “I love it when a plan comes together…three yrs of developing…I’m almost there.
“I can taste it…literally…It’s all about the quality for me…It’s about the word ‘premium’ and what that word truly means…Stay tuned people.”
