This is the newest addition to the 90+ Cellars Classic Series, and the first red wine in their collection made with 100% organic grapes.
The Montepulciano grapes are fermented under temperature control in stainless steel tanks and then matured for 6-8 months in a blend of tank and barrel before being bottled. Similar in taste profile to a chianti, this is an expressive, smooth and elegant Italian red wine, the company says.
This wine is bright ruby in color with aromas of blackberry, black currant and spice, the company says. Undertones of roasted chocolate give way to smooth tannins and a balanced finish.
This follows the brand’s recent release, 90+ Cellars Seas the Day Rosé.The post 90+ Cellars Montepulciano d’Abruzzo first appeared on Beverage Dynamics.
